What is the Feng-Fertility Program?
This is a fertility program created by Catherine Ford in 2014 with the purpose of helping fertility patients by coaching them on how to increase their fertility chances by integrating modern medicine with traditional therapies.
What does the word "Feng" mean?
“FENG” is a Chinese- Pin Yin word that means abundant, plentiful, fertile, rich.
Who is a good candidate for this program?
This program is designed for women and couples that would like to become fertile in mind/body and spirit through holistic therapies. It is for women that are ready to learn and absorb the knowledge that Catherine has carefully put together for them. This program will address both female and male issues.
Why Oriental Medicine?
Oriental Medicine looks at the body as a whole, it studies all of the systems integrating them and interconnecting all of their functions. This program will give you many tools to help your body say YES! to fertility. With this program your body will heal and self-correct physical and emotional imbalances.
What type of fertility issues can this program help?
The program is designed to address the root of a fertility problem from the Oriental Medicine perspective. Issues like unexplained infertility, endometriosis, PCOS, irregular cycles, secondary infertility, amenorrhea and anovulation, are the most common causes of infertility in women that can be treated successfully with this program. We can also work to restore and prepare you physically and emotionally after miscarriage.
Can I still go through the program if I am currently being treated by MDs like a GYN or a fertility?
Absolutely! Going through the program will speed up the process and boost many systems in your body to maximize the treatments being done by your medical doctors. The therapies, herbs, supplements and all the products and practices recommended in this program, will not interfere with any medications or procedures being performed by your current doctor. This includes IVF treatments and meds.
How long is this program?
This program is 14 weeks because it takes at least that long for your body to change chemically. It also applies for male participants; it takes at least 90 days for sperm count and quality to change.
How can this be a virtual program and still work?
This program was designed with the purpose to help many women around the world and Catherine has spent a lot of time preparing procedures and protocols, researching products and including every detail to make your journey a success. It has specific instructions that you will receive weekly, as well as products to help your body change week by week. Why is CP Acupuncture passionate about fertility?
Even though she is the mother of four boys, Catherine had her own health journey which started in 2008 with a subdural hematoma after childbirth. After this injury, and after walking a long road of medical visits, medications and testing she found relief in Oriental Medicine. All of this taught her that pain can come in many ways; physical pain which usually has an emotional component, it can manifest as frustration, anger and sadness. This experience taught her compassion and gave her the tools to understand patients at many levels.
